"In a joint venture with Melbourne based developer Little Projects and architectural input from COX Architects, Location Group is working towards delivering an exciting mixed-use 107 apartment development in the heart of Victoria Quarter. Once complete the development will feature a Resident Lounge and Sky Terrace offering panoramic views of the harbour and city."
^^ congrats Auckland! This is what uv been missing! Abit of curved glass bit sad it took a 'Melbourne based developer' for it, however could spark other developers to step up in regards to quality design. Very nice little building.
Roading around there needs a serious detuning, cars treat it like its part of the motorway. It will be absolutely devastated by the AWHC if it ever goes ahead, good luck selling apartments around there based on what NZTA wants to build.
I am truly impressed!
This is medium / high density done well! Congrats, we finally did it.
Why can't we just build more of this and much much less of the conrad group bullshit?!
I do quite like whats on the site currently.. I think the bricks look good and imagine new glass, black joinery etc. Could be a sweet little refurb. I think i'd be a bit peeved if what was going up it its place didn't look decent.
It's planned the buildings on site will be demolished this June, kicking off construction. Grace is scheduled to be completed in the third quarter of 2018.
Bet the ones on the right get a nice view of the motorway. Dust, noise lack of privacy too. Was interested (as if I can afford) but look like a third( half?) the building will be a lemon.
I'm interested to see what this is like from street level or from other angles - all the renders so far seem to obsess with the curved edge, which whilst nice is only a small piece.
Popped in today, pricing list roughly aligns to ~650 for the cheapest 1 bedroom (no carpark) to 1.085 million for the 2 bedroom plan above on the 6th floor (including 1 carpark). Cheapest 2 bedroom was ~885/800 (with/without parking) - on level 2 facing the motorway. Too rich for me.
Fitout looks quality though and is, I suppose good value compared to the Antipodean at least.
