Hi pple...I am looking for the BEST place to have a great buffet.

From my limited research, The Ritz Carlton Milenia seems to be the best.

Does any well-fed forumers here have any other recommendations?

four seasons sunday champagne brunch... free flow foie gras
foie gras my favorite sin food.

I go Equinox buffet lunch or hi-tea. I go with my wife and only pay for 1 person.

Membership have it's previleges.
Free flow "Bollinger Brunch" at the Raffles Hotel Bar & Billiard Room....relatively the same price as Fullerton champagne brunch but far superior food spread (think foie gras, lamb roasting on a spit, oysters, sashimi, and various other delights...)

sounds good....:)
^^ Who's the lucky one? :D

BTW is "buffetting" common in Singapore or more people preffer a-la-carte dinning? Since the majority of pop is Chinese, I would think a buffet would be more popular. :dunno:

errr....hmmm...actually im not sure...but a "good" buffet here is very ex and most of the pple will rather have a nice alarcarte.

I think Equinox has a sgd100 buffet. some japanese restaurant has a sgd40 buffet. that is the minimum for a "good" buffet i think.

the lucky one is from the opposite sex :D

Imagine a meal cost $600 (Euro 300) how much will an apartment cost then.

That day will come sooner that expected.

However I will still go for cheap roti prata. Hope Prata by then still remain at $1.20.

OOo. I live OSCARS at Conrad.
I like The Line..

Cheaper alternative is the one at Mandarin Htl & Pete's Pl (and the 1 above on Hilton)

Others I go to are:
Plaza Htl
Traders
Kitchener Rd(Cant remember htl name, behind is Mustafa) undergoing reno opp is City Sq
Amara (3rd fl. TianYin? Thai Rest has good desert buffet)
Furama (Tiffany Room - nxt to PPC)
Furama (Former Apollo - Squares? & Indian Restaurant)
Marina Htl
Merchant Ct (durian desserts)
Swissotel
Sheraton
Mirama
Paramount (Vanda - nonya, used to be good & cheap.. now opposite)
King's for the Peranakan spread (kaya & tau hway damn tua kong)

Why?

Are we now moving down Maslow's hierarchy of needs.. first food then shelter? Maybe Scotts Sq will hit record prices due to proximity to gastronomic delights?

Soooo many lah!
Furama Waterfront (former Apollo)'s Kintamani is nice too.
I've tried triple3 at Meritus Mandarin, quite good, loved the Lobster Mornay.

ugh, but I hate buffets! Makes me fat.

Ah, try the alacarte buffet at sichuan dou hua too, dunno why, alacarte buffets always make me feel good.
