I was going to post these sooner but didn't have the time! My bf is a Greek American from Boston so I thought I could share with all of you some of the wonderful photos from the parade and the festivities! Boston has a large and active Greek American community.

Great pics!!! Forgive my ignorance, but who was the Grand Marshall in this parade? I see him in the photos, but I do not recognize him. Is he a Greek-American from Boston, or someone from Greece?

His name is Constantine Maroulis (but I'm not sure if he is from Boston or not) and he was a contestant on American Idol. I think he came in something like 3rd or 4th in the past season (didn't watch it but I've seen him on tv and in interviews etc.) He seems like a talented fellow.

I always assumed Cherry is a girl, the name is an English female name and look at the avatar.

I think that Ozan and Kuvaci are spending waaaaay to much time thinking about this and now you have deliberately tried to stir up our Giorgo! you two Turkish guys have issues it seems! why don't you just enjoy the pictures instead!

We all knew you are a female. "Some" people, a you say, have issues and are trying to stir sh*t up. Ignore them.

Yeah those Northeastern US cities are inbelievable!!! Nice pics.

BTW can any of the Bostonians here tell us about the big dig? Is it complete? Did it help?
