We'll see if this is worth doing.

These will presumably have to be historical, but you never know.

Anyway, here's the first one: where is/was it? (Okay, was. There are mostly roads there now.)

I may be completely off here, but the G&SWR south of St Enoch, now obliterated by the M74 extension?

You may have misread the wording on the high-level line as "Dumfries", perhaps?

Until it was pointed out, I hadn't noticed any wording at all!


Apparently that high-level line was going to continue west, across the Peak District and eventually end up at Warrington. But west of Chesterfield never happened, and neither did east of Lincoln.

Nope, not Glengarry. Apparently the station of that name was located in Victoria (Australia) and it closed in 1986.



When you say 'us', do you consider yourself to have multiple personalities? Might explain why you can't manage a consistent viewpoint I suppose.....
