Yes there's probably less office space, but most of the project is residential and much denser than almost all American cities. This project isn't even in "downtown" Guiyang.to be fair these developments usually aren't half as dense as american city centres, besides the most parking lot ridden ones. they look impressive, but in terms of office square footage they likely aren't anywhere close to large US office clusters like Chicago.
