Suburban sprawl is worse in my opinion. At least here everything seems to be together.

The entire area looks great. Looks like it will be a very vibrant bustling community.
According chinese gaoloumi.com. , height to the roof is 335m, parapet 350 m, there is not crown. Antenna is 71 m. There is rumors for removal the both antennas.

I don't know about you guys, but the parapets in those renderings look more than 15 metres high to me.

^^ Roof height is measured up to the bases of the antennae I guess.

MY,, there's a hell of a lot construction going on,, and the other bldgs.,, are they residential? Oscillations post shows a lot of bldgs. that are 30 floors and higher
I can't believe how China raises these bldgs., quickly, this is moving quick, makes me wonder why they didn't try to surpass the old twins,, clearly they can.. Itlooks like it's over 50 floors,, just so impressive.

... IMHO these are not human dimensions. Who lives or works in this monster houses, is not a human being, but only a number. I mean, smaller houses would be better.
I'm magnified by those buildings, but i feel sorry for the ones living behind that wall. They must barely see some sunlight.

I share your opinion.
But the problem is specific in China (too) many people try to find a living in the booming citys.
That's why they often destroy the most ancient parts of the city to have ground for those buildings.
But perhaps the interior is more liveable.
