I like the first one... when I went to Haifa the terrace was just a sharp slope and a concept drawing beside the drop lol... I'd love to visit again some day to see it all finished.
Did you know the Baha'i gardens are based on Perisan design and those of the gardens in my town in England called Torquay... Shoghi Effendi (The Gaurdian of the Faith) visited Torquay many a year ago and he loved the gardens here... along with one of the local beaches lol. He based the design of the gardens on what he saw in his mind from visiting Torquay.
yes the designs have persian patterns mixed with classical european landscaping
in the middle and what I like is the areas on both sides gradually transform into
more local plants and more natural landscapes and the contrast is very nice..
by the way, the gardens were designed to flower in different colors all year
round so each time you go its a little different, also has tens of unique grass
types from all the world.. here's the natural areas and some unique grass
