May 5th was Doors Open in Hamilton. For this year we got Hamilton forumers and otheris from Southern Ontario to meet and enjoy the nice day to walk and take pctures. I had a good time. Our first Hamilton Meet! About 20 people showed up and went pretty successful.

St. Paul's Presbyterian Church

James Street

The back of Hamilton GO Station

Skyline view

City Hall which today City Council will determine it's future either demolish and make a new City Hall or renovate it.

James Street South

Medical Arts Building

Hamilton Conservatory for the Arts

More church, MacNab Street Presbyterian Church

Whitehern Historical House, house built for the McQuestens family. Thomas McQuesten really helped build the City of Hamilton, got McMaster University, was Minister of Transportation that built QEW and the Burlington Skyway Bridge and Rock Gardens at the Royal Botanical Gardens.

Newly renovated Art Gallery of Hamilton

Hamilton Community Energy, produces both heat and electricity from a clean burning natural gas fired reciprocating engine connected to a generator and three, gas-fired boilers. This building produces clean energy to power up downtown Hamilton. Got free compact fluorescent bulbs well actually got two bulbs for free lol.

Copps Coliseum

John W. Foote VC Armoury, it's the largest indoor armoury in Canada

It's impossible to fit the entire armoury building into one picture, you need like a panorama camera to do so.

Some dead cat, I dunno I didn't get too much detail on it

Now my favourite church Christ's Church Cathedral

The Factory Hamilton Media Arts Centre

May Day Festival

The painting was going on top of this boarded up building, Lister Block. Hopefully renovation will being this year *crosses my fingers*

great pics...Steel

Have u been to the church near 403 and King, it has very nice architecture as well (I forget what's it called) I used to live near there just across 403.
Good pics. I love the inside of some of those places.
that's beautiful!
Those were very cool. That preserved cat was strange.

I'd love to go into that church. It wasn't part of Doors Open Hamilton this year.
Yea the Cathedral of Christ the King is hard to get during Doors Open, there only open dunring special time and I think you have to call in to join as a group tour of the Church. It's the largest diocese in English Canada.

Cathedral of Christ the King, it's nice at night time with all the lights on.

Thanks for the comments so far!
^^nice picture...i took about this picture 1 and 1/2 year ago (before my final year at mac)
