The end.

A lot of interesting architecture. You can see, judging by the buildings, that it was a better area 100 years ago.

Thanks for the great shots.... I haven't seen Harlem like this before.I remember back in the late 70's driving through and trying not to stare at the people on the sidewalks.. it looks like it has come a long way.

Thanks for commenting. I don't actually know whether it was a risk to go there, but I didn't feel like I was about to get stabbed or robbed, or anything even close to that. It feels like a regular neighborhood with some interesting, historic architecture. Well, except for the abandoned houses with flowers on their doors. Also I got the impression that the local population is very homogeneous.

I proceeded north to check City College out, which is also in Harlem






































I was immensely impressed with the campus, its scape and architecture.
