Here in the Netherlands millions of people make Sudoku's. It starts last summer when it was issued in a free daily newspaper. Now every newspaper has it's own sudoku.
I thought it would be a hype for a short time but it still there. They try new forms of sudoku like Kakuro and extra lines like a cross in the puzzle.
It is actually not a Japanese puzzle. Just the Japanese gave it a name.

I make sudoku's everyday in train. It makes your trip shorter. I still like them and they can't be difficult enough for me.

did you know sudoku was actually an american invention? It was invented in 1979 by Howard Garns, in 1979 and published by Dell Magazines under the name "Number Place"
