Rezidor announces Hotel Missoni Cape Town, South Africa
June 9, 2009 - The Rezidor Hotel Group, one of the fastest growing hotel companies worldwide, announces Hotel Missoni Cape Town in South Africa. The new life and style hotel featuring 157 designer rooms will open its doors in 2010 – just in time for the FIFA World Cup.

The group has signed a worldwide licence agreement with the iconic Italian fashion house Missoni and yesterday opened the first Hotel Missoni in Edinburgh – two further properties are under development in Kuwait and Oman. A new and distinctively different kind of lifestyle hotel, Hotel Missoni will quite unashamedly set itself out to capture the increasingly important lifestyle sector of the hospitality market.
Hotel Missoni Cape Town has a prime location in the heart of this thriving city. Surrounded by upmarket office towers, trendy restaurants and clubs and popular tourism sites the hotel offers convenience to both business and leisure travellers. Besides 157 rooms, the hotel will feature a signature Missoni Cucina restaurant, a bar, a stunning rooftop terrace with a cantilevered swimming pool and views of Table Mountain, a full spa and small meeting and private dining facilities.
