..............

In the two hours I was in DT, it changed from partly cloudy, to cloudy and dark to stormy, than my camera's battery went out.

Great work, RGV :eek:kay: Neither your photos, nor Houston images disappoint. Too bad the weather didn't cooperate, but still...
Nice pics! I'll be there in a month!

What are the best things to do around the Houston area?
Great shots of Houston, I really like Houston's skyline, it's just great.
Love it! I have to say, Downtown Houston is growing on me. Great pics, especially this one:

^What are those three projects under construction? I hope they're all pretty tall...

Thx for the comments.

That three block site is the construction for the Houston Pavillions, and entertainment complex.

Here are two shots of the Pavillions site, the first from 10-06 and the one I took yesterday.

Some great photos, personally I'd rather have older looking buildings than modern ones anyday, a good mix in their. The Great Southwest is an unsung beauty.

Depends on what you like to do.

Houston has some great museums in the Museum District.

There are always great shows going on in the Theater District.

There's some of the best shopping in South in the Galleria/Uptown area.

There are plenty of great restaurants.

And, this weekend there is the Art Car Parade. That's were I'll be taking some pics. (Yeah, new thread comming up this Sunday)

Yes, the Great Southwest building is lovely. I'm hoping that development takes place between it and Minute Maid Park in the near future so as to attract more attention to it.

And, again, great photos, Boris. My only disappointment is that you can see how much of an eyesore the West Building is, as its desolate state is an unnecessary interruption in the growth and redevelopment of the Main Street Corridor. If we can ever get anyone to rehabilitate that building (and its next door neighbors), then Main Street will sparkle from the Pavillions to Allen's Landing.
