Pity. Most ISP's will give you about 10 meg to play with as part of the package.
With my images I simply upload them from my digicam and, once the original image is on my pc, I then reduce the size of the image in Fireworks. Then I use an FTP program to upload the image onto my ISP's server. The File Transfer program I have used for over six years is a very basic program called WS_FTP95 LE. You should be able to find it on the tucows website - http://www.tucows.com/. Most ISP's should also have basic instructions on how to upload images on their websites.
