Didn't some of them get transported to a city in Russia to get used on their tram network or have I literally just made that up?
indeed VDB; you have just made it up.

As I understand it, one T68 was due to be preserved on the Heaton Park line; one was being kept so that GM Fire and rescue could use it to practice evacuation procedures; and three were to go to the Long Marston test track, where UK Tram would use them to test track components.

I suspect that those we now see are the Heaton Park, GM F&R; and one of the Long Marston set. Does anyone know different?

A quick Google reveals there are 4 T68s at Long Marston No's 16, 22, 24 and 26 additional to the ones mentioned above.

One of the trams at Trafford is from the 2000 series, not sure if it has a special place in someones heart. Perhaps the person who was in charge of making it work again after being sat for a decade cant bare to see it go!
