such an ugly design... but any progress?

Has the proposal been approved? A few months back, there was "soil testing" on site. I suppose the project will be launched in 2012!

Looks like a 3 star hotel. Further down the road (Jalan Mayang), Holiday Villa has been granted approval to build a 25 storey hotel, on 12,000 sq.ft land!! The building must be "tall and slim"

noo...please dont build it in klcc area..it will spoil the view,and it doesnt look tall or slim

What a "WASTE' of Prime land around the KLCC area. Developers should take pride in their product and not come up with ugly designs like that!

Jalan Yap Kwan Seng Hotel

Construction has started on the Hotel, to be managed by IBIS. Hotel is opposite OldTown Kopitiam, on Jalan Yap Kwan Seng

who is the developer??

Saw the site, was just gonna ask in the New Stuff thread. Looks busy

Developer is Tetuan Winbond Properties Sdn Bhd. The proposed Hotel will be 30 Storeys, termasuk 8 Storey Carpark + 3 Basement Car Park

Other Jalan Yap Kwan Seng Developments

In addition to the proposed hotel, E&O/Sime Darby will be launching their high-end condo ("The Mews") in 2013. The condo is located behind Oldtown Kopitiam. Expected launch price will be about RM1,400 per sq.ft. Jalan Yap Kwan Seng will be pretty congested with construction vehicles in 2013.
