Piloting have flying schools, I believe. I do not know much about flying schools in Canada though I do know my father did go to flying school to learn how to fly his little Piper Cub.
By far the best training is through the Canadian military. It is highly touted throughout NATO and considered the best training available any where in the world. I imagine that you do not hold a Canadian passport, but it might be worthwhile contacting them any way. Are you planning on staying in Canada after training?

Another option would be to simply ask pilots at the airport. If you ask enough of them, you'll begin to get an overall feel for what schools are good rather than what school that person happened to go to.

Probably,yes !! If I find a job in there.
Go to induvidual Canadian university sites like Ryerson,York, McMaster etc you can get detailed explanations of the course.
There are also course searchers where you can search the course and it will display all the Unis that offer it. :)
Welcome, Woodstock! Where are you coming from?

Would be great, but if I even finnish my studys as a helicopter pilot I even don't know where I will get a job .There isn't meny jobs for helicopter pilots . :bash: or If even won't be a pilot I still move to Canada becose I allways wanted to live in North A.
The University of Waterloo has two degree programs which might be of interest: Geography and Aviation and Science and Aviation.
I know nothing about it, but would assume helicopter pilots are in demand...

Hey Woodstock, Seneca College has a fantastic Aviation and Flight Technology program. It's the best program in the country for fixed-wing and you can easily build hours (and cash) with an instuctors ticket. I was going to go there myself in the 80's but settled for VFR at the Island instead.

If you're thinking choppers then BC is the place to be. I don't know of any specific schools but I have a buddy who flies northern BC/Alberta and Yukon and he says that there is always a demand if you are willing to learn and locate in remote areas.

Forgot to mention, Seneca is a degree program.

BCIT in the Vancouver area is an option as well. They are a huge technical educational institute in BC (I understand it is actually the school with the largest total enrolment in BC - bigger even than UBC). Among their dozens of schools and hundreds of different programs, they are "Canada's largest English-language aviation training school" (according to their website), and they have a brand new aerospace campus near YVR airport as well as one in Kelowna. Here's a couple links - look for the "airline & flight operations (commercial pilot)" Commercial Pilot Licence & Diploma of Technical Studies program:

While this program seems geared toward planes, I know BCIT has at least one helicopter simulator and training helicopter, but I'm not sure if they offer a program in helicopter flight training - you may want to contact them.

Here's a list of some other schools in Canada: http://www.atac.ca/en/learn_to_fly/careers_catalogue.html
