Chinese Capitalist Communist Party did more to Capitalism in the last 3 decades than all western economies combined.
They are the namesake communist party. China isn't a communist state. It is officially a one-party socialist country that is trying to achieve communism in the future. But, definitely not right-wing.

Nah, they stopped coming because SSC is more than 15 years old and hype of Indian "future" has disappeared. People move on. You guys are eternally optimist without any good reason. Carry on for next 10 years.
But you'll always get the next wave of hypers. After a few years, they'll realize the reality, get settled in life and get more wisdom and come back after a decade (or) two to bash/show reality to new young kids. That circle keeps continuing.

he Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) on Tuesday issued a circular clarifying that tax deducted at source (TDS) and tax collected at source (TCS) provisions are applicable from October 1, 2020.

According to the circular, TCS has to be collected and paid on all payments received on or after October 1, 2020, including the amount of GST and also sales made prior to October 1, 2020.

The threshold of Rs 50 lakh is year based and hence, the payment received before October 1 2020 are to be considered. However, applicability shall be on payment received on or after October 1, 2020.

Unlike dreams of other nationalist countries the anti-national leftist country, China/CCP has successfully expanded its borders to HK, Tibet, and Aksai Chin. Taiwan in the works.
yes for any of that to happen we need to first eliminate all the opposition inside the country . Make this country run by a single party for decades without any opposition of any kind .
Are you ready for that ? You think India can survive like that ?

Did anyone think China will survive capitalism? West said opening of China's economy will open their society thereby democratic institutions will take over.

But the opposite happened, Chinese success has produced more wannabe dictators in most democracies without any of their chops.

India hasn't achieved (even with massive(communist like) repeat mandates) what has been achieved even during coalition govts.

Most people here are optimists and even people who question things do with some proof. There is no point in saying everything is the same and still continue to follow the progress. I am not sure what hype had disappeared. Optimists have a reason to be here, why are pessimists doing here except for sucking out that hope.

Dictators existed before China and they will after it, dictatorship has nothing to do with Chinese success. It is mostly born out of one man's hunger for power not to make their country prosperous.
What was achieved during coalition govt and what hasn't been achieved by a massive repeat mandate? You should know that the second term barely began and most of the current govt's tenure is under COVID lockdown.

First-term

(1) demonetization
(2) poor implementation of GST.
(3) RBI's overzealous inflation control destroying any possible growth left ended up cooking GDP.
(4) Many Financial institutions went belly up and RBI is still infusing capital and merging them to keep them afloat.

The Second-term

(1) mishandling Covid and its aftermath
(2) trying to prove demon and GST were good
(3) Bangladesh GDP per capita overtook...

After all this the prev. Cong. rule looks so pathetic only shows the true worthiness of the Indian ruling class.

Well, apart from demonetization I don't agree with any of those you have mentioned.
As for COVID control, it could have been better. But I really don't know which other major country that has tackled this situation any better than India. Most of Europe is going back to lockdown and the USA things are getting worse again. We are not in the aftermath yet. Lets wait and see.
Bangladesh overtaking us when we are under complete lockdown is blown out of proportion. Let the dust settle to know how the things actually are.
GST could be implemented better, it is definitely not bad. Unless you like long ques of lorries at the state border and paying dozens of taxes on a product.
And how is the coalition govt before it better than this one? If anything the financial institution you have mentioned that went belly up is because of the policies of the UPA. And the reckless lending during that period.
Anyway any of these didn't made me lose hope for country. After all the banks in the US caused a global recession and still managed to recover.
Any of that explain your comment linking Communist China, dictators and current govt.

Why don't you take a look at our neighbours who did better control, rather than comparing with US.
Europe ,Canada has winter , the number is expected to go up, even in north India, the numbers would be high, I don't think we are reporting it.

That is not true . There are vicious oppositions to land acquisition everywhere because of stupid laws , There are journalists talking against this government , alliances like gupkar , so many regional political parties in power .
Please remove all of that , and after that we need this party to be in power till at least 2034 .
Once all of that has happened then we can probably come back and compare in 2035 ?
Untill then it is an unfair comparison . At least give us a fair shot at dictatorship !

The situation for our neighbors is similar to us .
India has 7 times the population of pakistan and is testing 4 times as much . The over all condition is same .
There was worse economic impact in India in one quarter because of a severe lockdown , which I agree didn't help much because the migrants kept moving anyway . But then I doubt if any other government would have handled it any better

Pakistan total test- 51 lakh tests done
India - 13.2 crore test done.
The countries that tested the least has lowrst number of corona. See all African nations

India's death per million is mere 90 compared. France, USA, Brazil, UK, most of Europe has over 300-500. Did we really do bad?

Overtook? Really? Isn't that an IMF prediction.
The full prediction is -

"India set to slip below Bangladesh in 2020 per capita GDP, says IMF

According to International Monetary Fund (IMF)-World Economic Outlook (WEO), Bangladesh’s per capita GDP in dollar terms is expected to grow 4 per cent in 2020 to $1,888. India’s per capita GDP, on the other hand, is expected to decline 10.5 per cent to $1,877 – the lowest in the last four years.

IMF predicts a sharp economic recovery in India next year, which is likely to push per capita GDP ahead of Bangladesh in 2021 by a small margin.

India’s per capita GDP in dollar terms is expected to grow 8.2 per cent in 2021, against an expected 5.4 per cent growth for Bangladesh. This will grow India’s per capita GDP to $2,030 next year, against Bangladesh’s $1,990."

After 1993 happened, in 2000's I use to see videos in some south languages that in 2020, 1 Re = 100$ and goras will be our porters, etc. 2020 has come, now the goal is 2035, Indians are good in daydreaming, more than that their politicians are very good in cooking up these golden dreams.

When 2035 happens,

Best Case: Another mediocre middle-income country @10k.
Worst Case: The whole world is fully/mostly automated, India with the youngest and the most working-age population (UP twice as now and Bihar 4 times as now) with no jobs not even outsourced.

GDP in 2004 is 700 billion dollars, in 2019 before the pandemic, it was 2.9 trillion. It wasn't a super dramatic growth like in China, but it is significant (fourfold) growth in 15 years. Personally, I can see the difference, so what's wrong with the optimism again?
Are your expectations so high that anything less is not even worth acknowledging?

Hardly. It is nice to see big numbers. But these numbers exist on paper.
Change is not visible out in open. In many ways, India has gotten worse. A pic of gurugram doesn't "reflect" real India.
So I look to reality vs. shiny headlines. I afterall, had joined in SSC in 2003(?) under different name.
India has not transformed. It constantly struggles to maintain even 6% growth. Nevermind the disaster that is Modi government. You can't throw 15 years like that and play eternal optimist.

Remember when India wanted to bid for Olympics. That was more than a decade ago. In 2021, world would laugh at very idea.

But as many forum champions claim, we are the trolls..for speaking about things we see. So carry on. Trolls don't comment often.
One can post any data. But India remains dirty, hungry, stunted, overpopulated....and I don't see that changing...at all.

Again shifting the goal post . You have comprehension issues .
