Interesting render of future London

I don't know if anyone has posted this but this is supposed to be a conceptual render of how London will look like in the future if they scrapped height limits. It's interesting how there are loads of small clusters and individual towers, exactly like what is happening now. Personally, this is NOT what I'd like to see happen. I'd prefer all the towers to be kept in one or two areas and the rest, especially historical areas preserved.

interesting, not so pretty. Agree with keeping them together
Too scattered and decentralized, and too tall. :eek:hno:
Looks like Los Angeles.
yeap. should cluster them like Singapore's.
Hmmm, that's just not London.
It's just a conceptual render. It's not supposed to be utopia, nor is it supposed to be distopia. Just though it was interesting that there are a lot of towers on their own or in small clusters (but lots of them) because it seems like a continuation of what's happening now.
Reminds me of The Fifth Element a bit.

The Fifth Element NY has an image of a half-drained Atlantic Ocean.

The London render looks ok though I prefer that of today.
lol, I didn't say it was exactly like The 5th Element, just that it reminded me of it.

Relax, jeebus. You guys really do take yourselves too seriously sometimes.

haha lol, jokes, jokes! I like london now, perhaps with the shard. But street life is sweet, Soho was fun.
I love it. Reminds me of Star Wars.
In my humble opinion, what is lacking in London are some very good quality International Style office towers, like the Seagram's building in New York. Something that looks restrained and classic, along with the very new styles that are going up.
I'd prefer London with a smaller skyline, the historical buildings and the current, cutting-edge ones with lower height gives London that distinct feel.
I dont want London to be scattered with so many skyscrapers like that, i like how things are going now with some quality buildings integrating old and new to keep London's style. I prefer how London incoorporates its modern image with its historical heritage and i want it to stay that way. Too many cities in the world are riddled with too many skyscrapers and it can be boring, i want Londons skyline to be Diverse.
