Was the old Intourist hotel situated somewhere else in the same street or did I just dream this?

Same place, same hotel, same design, new facade. Tomate, tomato.

well what do you expect,this is renovation of the same hotel(the way it will be in Dinamo,also held by Pasha),anyway at least I put there a very big roller shutter for the loading bay

It is more of a 're-creation' rather than a renovation... What can I say... People are sentimental... And I understand that you like roller shutters - interesting...

By the way, there are no photo updates for the Intourist. Does anyone have any recent photos??? It should almost be complete by now...

Ha ha. Good to know.. Next time I am involved in a project in Baku and I need roller shutters I know who to ask...

Does anybody have the latest pictures of teh Intourist Hotel? It should be ready to open by now. It was supposed to be open at the same time as the Boulevard Hotel in White City.

by the way same guys from Pasha who were administering the intourist project are working on old cinema Azerbaijan, plans are not clear yet but there are 2 options,either they will demolish it and build a new 28 cinema from it or they will only change the interiors and leave the building.

Hope they leave the window shutters for the old 28May cinema.. its a classic look. The front huge window is ugly though..

и вправду, не привычно. но по-моему, проект похуже есть и он так же на фото - Dalğa Plaza.
прежний Интурист так не резал глаза. а это как будто точечная застройка и не сочетается с окружением. думаю, деревья могут все исправить.

Они даже цвет оставили прежний, получился один в один.
Не могу сказать что это вуау но это частичка истории от которой не стоило отказываться.
