Is KL's skyline too dark at night compared to other asian cities?

KL - City of Lights. Do you Agree or Not Agree?

I always have this feeling. KL has a fantastic skyline when compared to other asian cities. But, our night view often is not as great as theirs coz many tall buildings in KL are not being lit up at night? Only the KLCC area and KL tower are lit up nicely at night...

If you look at HK, Singapore, Shanghai, Seoul, Tokyo, Taipei, Jakarta, BKK, etc.... KL's skyscrapers simply need more lights at night, dont you think?

Can someone post the pics of other cities and KL's night views for comparison? :p

I want to post pictures... but it doesnt allow me to post attachments :(
guess malaysians office workers arent working hard enough.....they tend to go home from office quite early and not many prefer to stay working until late at night..........sure if the majority of them do stay at night every floors of KL's skyscrapers would be lit by office lights...and coupled with exterior decorative lights it sure made the entire building very bright

but then again that's not always the point...........i saw baq's pictures and i think definitely KL is very bright.....just look at clouds/sky above KL it was lit up by the lights of the city..
Actually some pics of the other world cities can be quite misleading...it's all depend on the exposure settings of the camera when taking night pics. They could've look much brighter on the pics than in real life.

KLCC is defenitely very very brightly lit...not exagerrating to say they're the brightest object in the world.
hmmm... how do i post pictures here?
If KL is darker, isn't that a good thing? There'd be less light pollution, for one.

Then again, lights are pretty :D

KL's skyline is quite well lit actually. Very much comparable with other major asian cities. But Singapore, Tokyo and Hong Kong's are among the best at night.

This is Makati at night: (not as impressive as the others)

I think it's more reflective of city density then anything else....

I am very very sure Malaysians do stay back much much longer than many cities. One can't compare cities in many temperate countries when during winter, night falls at 5pm. In Malaysia, it doesn't gets completely dark till 8pm ;)

In cities like Australia & New Zealand ....to a certain extent.....some Asian cities like Singapore, some companies and building owners keep the internal lights on for both aesthetic and security purpose. I saw many Sydney buildings that are litted up inside but not the outside :)

Malaysian companies tend to switch off the lights very early to conserve electricity :D
