Is NY the the perfect city to sk8?

No offense, that video sucks; but NYC is THE perfect city to skate, no doubt about it. Within and between Down+Midtown, you can easily find a dozen spots within a few blocks of each other and there are skate parks under both the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges. I don't really skate anymore, but the city was a much better place to skate before 9/11. Since then, lots of spots have been knobbed or destroyed and every other spot I know has become basically a 2 minute bust.
