There will be 4 300m-long platforms (all underground), so enough to park trains at the station, which for the foreseeable future will be a terminal station. Shunting isn't necessary as all IR passenger trains are dual head. Also, shunting could be achieved by using an unoccupied platform.^^ Excellent.
