^^ Excellent. And with the link to the Jerusalem CBS and the Light Rail, this will surely be Israel's top intermodal transport center.

Where will the sidings and shunting lines be built?
There will be 4 300m-long platforms (all underground), so enough to park trains at the station, which for the foreseeable future will be a terminal station. Shunting isn't necessary as all IR passenger trains are dual head. Also, shunting could be achieved by using an unoccupied platform.

I was against the light rail in Jerusalem becaue i thought that it will cause big traffic jams. I was also against the light rail in Tel Aviv from the same reason.
But now i see that light rail only contirbute to the city of Jerusalem. I hope the light rail in Tel Aviv will be also such aesthetic.

^^Yes, as far as I know. Although line crossings remain some dangerous since car drivers not always watch the trams... Hopefully, matter of time and improved traffic signs and control.

Everything looks calm and comfortable. Tram's contribution to city transportation is obvious today more then ever.
Street traffic is properly separated from the tram lines except crossings regulated with traffic lights. Until now there were relatively few accidents between trams and vehicles without or with minor injuries to drivers and passengers. But much more emergency stops occur because of people sporadically crossing railway on the streets. But with the time Yerushalmies begin to respect trams and keep them in mind more and more :)
Maybe a bit more noise to be added: bell ringing, songs, shots etc. and everybody will be completely safe! :D
