Images collected from internet in year 2003-2004 when Transjakarta line 1 was underconstruction.

I've tried it when in Jakarta summer 2004, it's good and the city should build more lines.... faster.

Just wondering, how would we reform ourselves ?? Even if we start TODAY, it would take 2-3 generations to change this kind of mentality, i guess... :bash:

Menurutnya, pembangunan koridor III melibatkan tujuh kontraktor agar cepat selesai sehingga pada akhir tahun 2005, busway bisa dioperasikan. Jalur sepanjang Harmoni-Kalideres dibagi dalam tujuh bagian dan dikerjakan tujuh kontraktor agar cepat selesai dan dapat dioperasikan akhir tahun 2005.
Sepanjang Kalideres-Rawa Buaya dikerjakan satu kontraktor, Rawa Buaya-Taman Kota satu kontraktor, Taman Kota-Green Garden satu kontraktor, Green Garden-Indosiar satu kontraktor, Indosiar-Grogol satu konraktor, Grogol-Roxy satu kontraktor dan Roxy- Gajah Mada dikerjakan kontraktor lain lagi. ‘’Nama kontraktor saya tidak ingat,’’ ujarnya.
Saat ini, lanjut Fodly, pekerjaan jalan sudah mulai dilaksanakan, dimulai dari Kalideres Jakarta Barat. Dalam waktu sekitar tiga bulan, pekerjaan jalan koridor III busway sepanjang Harmoni-Kalideres Jakarta Barat bisa diselesaikan.
Sementara koridor II dari Pulo Gebang ke Harmoni sudah dikerjakan walaupun belum selesai. Pekerjaan agak terhambat karena lahan belum dibebaskan.
Lahan di Jl Perintis Kemerdekaan pun, tambah Fodly, minggu depan sudah mulai dilakukan pembayaran sebab sekitar 60 persen warga sudah menyetujui harga ganti rugi sesuai nilai jual objek pajak (NJOP) yakni Rp 1,9 juta.(andreas piatu )

one thing for sure, Jakarta traffic even worst nowadays as most of the transportation project going on (Monorail, transjakarta). Once Line 2 & 3 operate, i will let my car rest in garage and get benefit from this public trans.

okay, i've search the thread - no one had confirming on the Tomang line..

Is there additional line of Harmoni - Kali deres route ?? I thought they will pass through Cideng - Roxy - Grogol all the way to Daan Mogot... but hey, if you go to Tomang - they also build the line for busway - pararel with the Roxy line.. anyone can confirm ? Thx

Hi GluTTony, in Singapore the smart card is integrated to all of the transportation system right ? You can use a single card to ride the mRT, buses, etc..

I think, the reason why TransJkt didnt use 'tap n go' or smart card is the initial project will cost them very high and remember when this project was launch back there, most of jakartan is blaming sutiyoso as a silly (including me).

OR, cost of the projects does as high as if its using Smart Card, but somebody will lost their 'share' part here...

(correct me if im wrong) they will bongkar those separators in cideng and tomang once the roxy flyover finished rite?? (i think that's why there's no shelter along the way..) sayang juga harus bongkar2 lagi.. apa gak mubazir yah..

Guess what, the tomang-s.parman-grogol is just a temporary route due to the fly over in Roxy is not expected finish even by the end of 2006
