Some people like some not really.

'I am not totally sold on the busway'
With investment in two more busway corridors, hopes are high the city's transportation system will be better integrated and implemented in the years ahead. The Jakarta Post asked residents how well the busway system was working for them.
Glenn, 33, is a freelance director of advertisements. He lives in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta:
I took the busway once, when I had to submit my work to an advertising agency in Kota, West Jakarta. The deadline was slam in the middle of peak hour, when traffic congestion in that area is unbelievable.
I got there in record time. That was my first busway trip and I appreciated the option. Usually it's just driving my car or taking a taxi, neither of which can be relied on at peak hour.
But I am not totally sold on the busway. My job requires me to carry a lot of stuff around, which I keep in the trunk of my car.
Adrian Pasaribu, 33, is a supervisor at a bank in Central Jakarta. He lives with his wife and children in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta:
I think busway is an excellent project as I believe it can help reduce traffic congestion. Don't judge the results now but wait for a few years. I hear the busway will be integrated with other transportation means that are new to the city, including the monorail and subway.
Since its launch in 2004, I always ride the busway from Blok M to my office on Jl. Thamrin. Leaving my car at home was a decision I made with ease.
Right now, most busway passengers are from the middle and upper-class but busway was really designed for low-income people. The Rp 3,500 fare is a good indication of busway's market.
Two or three years from now, busway will be the pride of Jakarta as more people make the system work for them.
