642m, 2106 ft., 160 floors up, sounds like it'd be a pain to go up and down all the time :nuts:

One thing to consider is that the direct translation may be "iron" but the material in reality may be steel. In many languages what we call steel in America may be called iron in their language. Iron, is a global term, which includes steel and many other materials.

Arabic has separate names for iron (hadid) and steel (fulad).

I honestly think somewhere around 2020 because it took 6 years for Burj Khalifa to be built and this one is taller.

I'd say those would be technical levels although 7 seems like a bit too much for that purpose.

Not really, BK also has many levels with equipments above the last floor, even though they aren't count as floors

Mechanical floors aren't located only on top of the building, they are spread out throughout the height of towers, in between the clusters, and this tower will NOT have just 7 of them, probably double of them in between regular floors alone.

And yes, the discussion was about mechanical floors above the top occupied floor.
