I've put this in the general forum so that more people can see it. This is a collection of old photos of the Hijaz region, which is in modern day Saudi Arabia.

Jeddah

i just can see 7 of theme!!!! by the way how can you Tonnerre only one seen theme all?

^^ I don't know why or how but I can see all of them & they are stunning.

Maybe it has something to do with the browser. I use IE7

Most of them survived didn't they? Infact I think Old Riyadh has been refurbished and is now a Museum can anyone verify?

Quite a transformation from what the city used to be to what it is today!

Also, reminds me that those little Kids playing in the street in 1917 have probably completed their time on this world and reached their final destination!
