Menorah Hill
Manado, Sulawesi Utara Province - Indonesia

Menorah in Bahasa Indonesia: Kaki Dian.

The biggest and highest Menorah in the world with 20 meters tall and 600 meters above the sea level (Guiness Book of Record). Even in Israel just has Menorah with 5 meters tall in front of their Parliament Building (Knesset).

I dont knew that have jews in Indonesia
interesting:)
^^ not alots but the interesting is Jewish leader in Manado is Indonesian from Minahasan Ethnic not Israeli. His name Rabbi Yaacov Baruch Palilingan, his paternal familiy name “Palilingan” is show about it.
I bet u must be thinking that he is a fifty year old or something missionary for Chabad-Lubavitch with a thick beard and a black hat. No no.. its wrong haha  he is a young man with 24 year old n a student of law faculty at a local university in Manado. The interesting fact is his parents are not Jewish, his mother is a muslim n the father is a christian. He got Jewish faith from his mother family which has Dutch blood, well his maternal great great-grandfather is a Dutch Jewish.

I know...My point was whether there's any distant Jewish lineage or bloodline in Malaysia way before we sever diplomatic ties with Israel.......
Most likely when Malaysia was still under British rule.

If there is one place with a rich Jewish history in Malaysia, that would be Penang.

Most of the Jews in Malaysia were oriental though there were Ashkenazi and Russian Jews as well.

^^ Yup, that's interesting....I'm sure there's Oriental Jew lineage in either Penang or Melaka, as they used to be trading hubs for centuries...
