Hey!

I'm lucky1 and I love SSC a lot. I have been browsing this forum on and off since early 2006. I haven't been much involved myself, but I like to see what other users have to say.

Anyway, some time ago I got a new camera (my very first!). Of course, I had to take it out for a try-out around the block. I don't have too many pictures, but I do have a few and I thought I'd share them with you for C&C. If you like Kadriorg, then most certainly pay a visit to Tin_Can's Tallinn thread which has a much better coverage (with comments) of the district.

Please do share with me what I could do better when taking pictures. Is there anything that particularly annoys or distracts you? I want to become better. Hopefully, I'll be able to show more pictures of where I go and what I see in the future, without having to feel iffy of my photography skills (or the lack of).

Thank you!

It's hard to believe that these are your first photographies, really. Because they are very good - compositionally eye pleasing. When I look back at my first photos, they were far worse. Keep going out and taking photos and post there - will wait for them!
Gotta agree with Vecais here. All you need to do now is show us some more pics!
Nice work,lucky1 ! You should be proud over those first photos,as they are really good. :eek:kay:

OT - I remember my first photos and how bad they were  Thankfully they will remain hidden on my PC ...forever.
nice photos :) im surprised at how scandinavian it looks..

looks like a very nice and calm place!
not bad.

If you dont mind me asking - what camera did you get?
Hey, thanks everyone for the positive comments! Posts like these are really encouraging and make me want to get outside again.

@ch1le, I got Canon EOS Rebel T2i. In Estonia (Europe), it goes by the name EOS 550D. So far I've been enjoying it to the fullest. It takes great pictures and it's really convenient for a beginner. :) It was kind of pricy, but I guess it's the best you can get for this money.
pretty nice, yeah. but what are you doing sitting home with this incredibly nice autumn weather?! :D
I got Canon EOS 550D
You,sir, have excellent taste for camera's! I approve! (btw,I'm also planning to buy EOS 550D)
