Katzrin is the administrative center and largest town in the Golan Heights, which Israel captured in the 1967 Six-Day War. The town offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. To the south is the Sea of Galilee, to the north Mount Hermon, and to the west the hills of the Upper Galilee. As of mid 2005 there are 6,400 people living in Katzrin, almost all of whom are Jewish. The community was planned to grow into a city of 25,000 residents. Katzrin has an educational system and academic centers that serve the residents of the entire region, industrial plants, and facilities of culture and
recreation. Katzrin is a major center of tourism in the Golan Heights due to the historical sites it boasts. One of these is the ancient village of Kisrin, of the Mishnaic period. The village was destroyed in an eighth century earthquake, but still has archaeological remains of a synagogue, partially reconstructed, and foundations of ancient houses. Katzrin is home to a kosher winery and a mineral water plant.

^^ as a resident or tourist?
unfortunately i think it's not going to remain Israeli. some day (and i see it happends in the next 5-10 years) we will return Golan to Syria for another fake peace agreement like we have with Egypt and Jordan.
we know that Shimon Peres and Tzipi Livni already said that they support this movement.
sure. all towns will be abanned and what's left will be looted arabs. just like in gaza evacuation.
Advocating violence is way uncool. Hmmm, Is there an equivalent slang word in Hebrew for uncool?

What would happen if someone had a home there and sovereignty was transfered? And, would you automatically have dual citizenship, becoming a citizen of Israel and Syria? Would the town of Katzrin be abandoned?

This region is by far one of the most beautiful in northern Israel that I've seen.
^^ of course we need all those areas! the population is getting bigger, we need place to house them.

and plus (the most importand) is if any neighboring country will start a war with us and we will occupied their land they won't start war with us. they will know that in case they lose the war, they lose land. so they will think twice before attacking us.
