Its a shame we have let train travel deteriorate in the country.
Even the coaches are out of date and in terrible conditions. Imagine 8hours in a hot box, with bad food, no hot water, horrible bathrooms, a sea of slums instead of the beautiful lush green plains and animals that used to greet people etc No wonder tourists no longer take this trains..
Can't wait when we can travel between Mombasa and Nairobi in just 6hours once faster trains and new stations are built and the track is finally standard gauge...
