Kista, Solna & Kungsholmen - bling-bling!

Had the day of yesterday, so inspired by olga's thread I thought I'd take a walk on Kungsholmen snapping some pics. I instantly got a bit sidetracked, but eventually made it there...
Starting of walking down my street (pedestrian and viehcle traffic is almost completely seperated in my 'hood).
1.
Tallest in Stockholm, kinda towers over the hood - when I see it from the nightbus after a night of debauchery there's maybe 10min till my stop at the base of it.
2.
Somebody's old christmas-tree. 3½ months later it's a piece of suburban contextual post-modern art!
3.
The el tracks cutting the suburb in two - on one side concrete housing, on the other Sweden's leading IT-hub.
4.
Sometimes I almost think they look nice. almost.
5.
stairs from the surface parking to the "ground floor",
6.
Kista Science Tower (the name is in English)
7.
there's stil a few floors avalible...
8.
The back of another recent office building.
9.
Ye Olde Mikrochippe Factorie getting torn down. iirc to make room for a mix of offices and residencies.
10.
'twas a lovely day
11.
That's an interstate (the E20) beyond which Stockohlm is no more. Instead there's a municipality of Sollentuna.
12.
there's a commuter train station just a couple hundred meters in, so... waiting... waiting... oh, a train! nope, coming from the City

The airport express

And now I'm in the City... of Solna. Tho that's just Ulriksdal, a 60's TOD if you will (with some later additions).

Nice pics Gustav !!! I especially love the ones of the little bunny rabbits, the Kista Tower and the ones from Solna. Spring has finally arrived *eherm* well it could be warmer..
