Other than 10K Hajees from Kerala, Lakshadweep & Mahe of government subsidised, there are private tour operator's and own fliers also.

5% VAT cut of aviation fuel only for UDAN flights? In today's Kochi edition of malayala manorama business page regarding GST lose of airline companies it is mentioned as Kerala state reduced VAT 5% only for UDAN flights.

Today's Airsewa app shows that the Thai Lion Air ways flight SL-210 arrived at Cochin from Bangkok at 1.05 am and flight SL-211 departed to Bangkok at 2.05 am

As on today, we are not having a direct/nonstop flight in the following domestic routes. If someone could ask some operator to bring one such flight, I think it will help us as well as other people.
1. Kochi to Kolkata & back
2. Kochi to Goa & back
3. Kochi to Visakhapatanam & back.
In all these routes some operator can start with once in a week & later they can improve the frequency as per demand after six months. Indigo, Go Air, Spicejet or Air Asia can initiate such proposals.
Not much patronage in these routes as per the statistics of aai.aero for the month of august 2017

GoAir temporarily changed its afternoon Mumbai flight schedule for 2 months (1st Dec to 31st Jan).

Temporary schedule as follows;

G8 347 BOM(05:55) - COK(07:45)
G8 468 COK(08:15) - BOM(10:10)
This Go Air morning flight already on winter schedule

Look like we are heading to 1cr club. There is a detailed report about CIAL on today's manorama. As per report, CIAL has touched 75lakh figure from Apr - Dec (10lakh in Dec :hmm:), so another 25 lakh in next 3 months is easy.



From 64.9 Lakhs to 75 Lakhs? ie 10.1 Lakhs passengers in December 17?

We need direct connectivity from Kochi to Goa, the tourist destination, and to Kolkata, Mangalore and Mysore, where sizeable amount of malayalee population.

In November 2017 total passengers 8,18,383 and for the month of December 2017 it is 9,29,350.This much increase of 1,10,967 in one month ?

As per the Udan Scheme, Indigo got the approval to fly to Kannur and baldota koppal aerodrome in Banglore!!
As per the notification published by Civil Aviation Department of Govt of India, it is stated that UDAN Flight Scheme for Kochi-Kannur and Kochi-Hubbali routes. Kannur and Hubbali airports will be served from Kochi by Indigo airlines

Kochi-Kolkata, is an important route for Kochi & is presently unserved by direct/non-stop flights. Only one stop flights are there in that route.
Similarly Kochi-Surat-Delhi-Surat-Kochi, Kochi-Nagpur-Delhi-Nagpur-Kochi, Kochi-Indore-Delhi-Indore-Kochi can easily be developed and will give everyone easy journey to Gujarat, MP & Vidarbha.

In the international sector Kochi-Europe & back, Kochi-Kolkata Edberg & back, Kochi to HKG & back & Kochi-Jakartha & back are some of the important routes to be developed.
In the domestic sector Kochi-Mangalore & back, Kochi-Madurai & back, Kochi-Trichy & back, Kochi-Tirupathi & back, Kochi-Goa & back to be developed.
Indigo airlines should consider the following route with ATR . Kochi-Agatti-Kochi-Kozhikode-Kannur-Kozhikode-Kochi-Trivandrum-Kochi
