Tender has been given out to the Edapally-Kuttipuram strech but LA problems are acute, especially up to Cheranaloor where LA had happened once for 30 m width..
Most of the this strech up to chavakad will be build as bye-passes rather than widening becuase of the heavy built up on the exisiting alignment. The byepass for paravur will start from cheriappally and end near the muthukunam bridge,part of it is already build. It will 10 km long..
If the GIDA plans for a bridge to chathanad materializes then the distance from Marine drive to paravur area will be less than 15 km..
