LA Diversity index ranking

The diversity index measures the probability that any two residents, chosen at random, would be of different ethnicities. If all residents are of the same ethnic group it's zero. If half are from one group and half from another it's 50%.

We use this figure to place areas into 10 groups of even size and then rank those groups. Areas with a diversity rank of 1 are the least ethnically diverse. Those with a diversity rank of 10 are the most ethnically diverse.

Why don't I see places from mid to far south orange county there, like Artesia, Buena Park, Anaheim, Irvine and points further down the 5 and 405?
LOL @ all of the self-imposed segregated Mexican ghettos at the bottom.
lol all the ghetto places, and yet Pacific Palisades is 2nd to last. Really some places have a problem of having too many white people too.

I love diverse place. The more races they are in an area, the less racial tension, and the less people peeking out of windows at you as you walk down their neighborhood, or avoiding you as you walk down sidewalks
