These 3 national athletes are from our town, San Pedro City (from Villa Olympia, Chrysanthemum, and San Vicente). Both will compete in the #SEAGames2019. Let us all support them and all our National Athletes. Goodluck! *♀

Yes to Los Banos citihood. Long overdue na yan. Naunahan p ng Munoz.
Dipa city ang LB but its way ahead in terms of commercialization compared sa ibang cities (no CvC or CvM intended:nuts:)..maraming local & global brands ang meron na sa LB na wala pa sa ibang cities diko na iisa isahin baka may mag react:lol:..matagal narin na meet ng LB ang 2 sa 3 requirements para maging city ang isang municipality..population & income..

kung sakali lang naman, ano ang pinaka ideal na lugar sa calabazron for an ikea store?

cavite
1.bacoor
2.imus
3.dasmariñas

laguna
1.biñan
2.santa rosa
3.calamba

batangas
1.sto.tomas
2.lipa
3.batangas city

A couple of my fratbrods and relatives are all against cityhood.

Nakasabay ko yung HS batchmate ko kanina sa DLTB, mentioned this to her as well, and tutol din sha.

Well let's see, pero I wouldn't be surprised if the results [if ever] of the plebiscite is negative.

In other news / query: saan pwede makakuha ng free taste tickets for SEAGames indoor hockey @ Genuino Mall?

Population requirement for cityhood is 150,000 and up. Population of Los Baños is only 112,000 as of 2015. Kung same pa din ang growth rate, by 2020 eh nasa 122,000 pa lamang ito. Pero kung tinatrabaho na ang cityhood ng LB, mukhang tumaas ang growth rate nyo at baka na-reach nyo na nga ang 150,000 this year.

By the way, when Sto. Tomas first applied for cityhood in 2012, 124,000 lang ang ang population nito based on 2010 census, land area is only 95 sqkm, short of 5 sqkm para ma-meet at least ang required land area, we all know like LB, wala na kwestyon sa income requirement noon ng STC. Sto. Tomas did not make it. They tried again in 2013 or 2014 yata but didn't make it again, finally in the last Congress, nagbalik at biglang 179,000 (2015 census) na agad ang population nila plus nadagdagan ang land area nila at nasa 100sqkm na ang sukat ng STC.

Tomas nga bago pa man maging city, matagal na ring way ahead over Tanauan. Iba naman tlaga ang LB kasi dami dumadayo dyan, una na because of UP.

If this pushes through, gets approved and ratified by the people..LB will be Laguna’s 7th and CALABARZON's 21st City..
