20-storey Pace Tower in Gulberg
LAHORE: Pace Pakistan Pvt Ltd (PPPL) will start building a 20-storey building, Pace Tower, in Gulberg III by the start of next year at a total cost of Rs 600 million, Moeed Rehman, the PPPL chief operating officer, told a press conference on Monday.
Mr Rehman said the building would be the tallest ever building in the city and it would be completed within 30 months. He said the PPPL had signed a contract with Raees Fahim Associates for the construction of the Pace Tower.
The 20-storey building will have state-of-the-art facilities and comforts with five floors for offices and 104 luxurious apartments, including eight penthouses and two and three-bedroom luxury apartments, on 15 floors.
Mr Rahman said temperature-controlled covered swimming pool, Jacuzzi health club, business centre and a spacious area for parties on the 8th floor would be available in the tower. Pace Tower will also have vast parking space in its four basements. Buyers will be handed over their respective property within the stipulated period, Mr Rehman said.
Mian Raeesuddin of the Raees Fahim Associates said the building would be equipped with emergency and rescue services. Besides a water tank of 100,000 gallons, another 30,000-gallon spare water tank will be built on the top of the building, Mr Din said, adding fire equipment like smoke detectors would be installed throughout the building. He claimed the building would be the most modern in the city.
