Largest Skyscrapers by Floor Area

Here at SSC, we are used to see the tallest buildings all the time, and because of that, it seemed to me, at least, that those were also the largest. But for construction and later use, what makes a building large is much more the amount of floor area that it has then how tall it is, and those two things are surprisingly unconnected. See those:
Wilshire Grand Tower: 335.3m tall, 139355m²

Roppongi Hills Mori Tower: 238.1m tall, 380105 m²

Almost three times larger, while still lower
One World Trade Center: 541.3m tall, 325,279 m²

Willis Tower: 442.1 m tall, 416,000 m²

Two buildings of comparable apparent size, one is quite a bit larger than the other,
and also, 1wtc is smaller than Mori Tower

Post other buildings that are surprisingly large or small!

Because it has only 370.000 m²:

Well,i searched this tower by some chinese websites, they are all shows it is largest, over 837000m²,and also shows shanghai tower is over 420000m².

but 370.000m² looks reasonable.

I am confused.

This question came up in a different thread in a bit of a different light (what is the widest building), so I leave my comment here. I think this question is really difficult to answer, it is not always clear where one building starts and where it ends and so many structures bottom in large retail areas and some more fluently then others.

this is a question that cannot be answered because it depends on so many things, do malls, casinos or different large retail areas count as an extension of the building? Do several towers count? and if not what exactly is only one Tower? There are connected buildings, do they both count? If not how about crazy examples like 85 Sky Tower, that is only one building, but it has two foot prints, so is that really one building and why are the others not then? And not all buildings are boxes, so how to count buildings that snake around like Hefei Feicui TV Tower, does that building even have a width? Buildings are an artform and as such, there are exceptions and extreme cases to almost everything.
