If a private individual can come up with a solution to preserve or reconstruct heritage structures, why can't the Intramuros Authority do something like this? I like the can-do attitude of that guy. C'mon IA stop making excuses and clean up your act!

Many of these houses at Las Casas were original heritage homes that were salvaged from neglect or have been subjected to demolition from various places in the Philippines. They were disassembled from their original site and reassembled at Las Casas. Now that's preserving our heritage! The attention to detail is amazing.
I learnt that they will be reconstructing Hotel del Oriente at Las Casas and it will be a truthful reconstruction of its heydey during the time when Jose Rizal stayed there.
