I wonder how many homes are U/C, approved and planned in Tower Hamlets? It must be a huge number for a single borough.
From their latest monitoring report...

Tower Hamlets has a supply pipeline of 54,579 additional homes over the plan period (2016-2031). Around 30,000 of these homes are from sites currently under development or with planning permission (at June 2018). It is estimated that over the next ten years more than 42,000 additional homes will be provided across the borough.

Whilst we need more residential units and maximising waterfront space is something we should be attaining for, I do worry about the loss of industrial spaces. I think there was a proposal to the north of Blackhorse Road which looked to be opting for mixed-use to create a win-win outcome. Developments in this area also require better west-to-east walking and cycling routes to avoid becoming too isolated.
