^^ That huge car park there will surely be a massive high-rise one day. I seem to remember seeing something about an absolute monster planned for there in the late 80s or early 90s. They built the car park base and then stopped. The location is superb.
Anyway, getting back to Liverpool, it looks like we are getting the (almost) full height window version after all. Maybe not so bad. But I'm sure we'll find reason to criticize the final product one way or another!
I really wish that area east of Freyberg Square/Chancery gets more development. It really is no mans land. Car parks next to car parks and no connection to the park.
Does anybody know if this is fully complete now? Ie, no further work will be done to the exterior? If so, it has to be one of the ugliest eyesores I've seen go up in recent years, really does resemble a concrete prison.
