Mantrasala, The royal Private Durbar Hall of Travancore Maharaja. Designed in rosewood with Sandalwood ceilings and designer windows with Mica Glass works. The seats are made of rosewoods, with a coating of ayurvedic medical extracts to provide relief, while the slanting roofs and darker interiors provides natural cooling to the interiors. The ground flooring is made of a special mixture of secret spices, herbs, mixed in Lime and plastered over Granite stones, that helps to retain the coolness.
The Royal Cot, is highly famous, as its made of Rosewood dipped in a mixture of 11 Ayurvedic Herbal Extracts for a year and topped with barks of certain ayurvedic trees to ensure medical properties of the cot.
