The electricity and lighting up the street of nigerian towns and cities is a big challenges to the govt. It would be a top priority if the govt. wants to acheive this.It should taken Like it's the only thing that matters. The endemic power failure in the country as I was told is unbearable and it's affecting the economy and the livelihood of the citizens. I read that even in the president building the electricity use to go off occasionally, which revealed how bad the problem is. The funding and plans is not be well managed, that would have be the case other way round privatizing the whole system of electricity supply( which some say is the down stream) to create better supply thereby resulting in constant light. The gridlock of twisted cable in Nigerian cities is among contributing factors.
