According to a supreme resolution published today ERM , the government's decision has been sent to the Agency for Promotion of Private Investment (ProInversión ) , an entity that is responsible for selecting a private operator for the Light Rail .
It adds that the new rolling stock will allow the Light Rail begins operations in July 2011, at a rate of nine minutes , which will ensure the attention of at least 80 percent of the estimated demand .
