Hello, this thread is about Lima the capital of Peru with 7.5 millions of inhabitans located in the pacific coast of south America was founded in 1535 by Francisco Pizarro the spanish conqueror, i hope you guys enjoy and know some of this city of my country :)

With our growing economy i am sure that in a few years they will built some higher buildings :D

Lima it looks so beautiful....hope that in some more years there will be bigger buildings..

Amazing. I did not expect Lima has such pleasant downtown.

However the city has dry climate. :(
Yeah thats rigth, did you know that in the central and south peruvian coast never rains? there are a lots of desert, thats why Lima looks such a dry place, the city was builted in a very dry place.

i will post the another face of Lima, called the historical center of Lima (ancient Lima)

Thanks for the photos. My parents are headed to Peru later this year so i'll show them these pics.

The beachfront areas remind me a LOT of Santa Monica in LA.

Lima has a lot to offer, it's not a modern city but there are places where you can relax or just take a walk. Nice pics
