This stadium has been talked about to death....and it is old news, as are all the EURO 2004 stadiums.

Awesome stadium , for a couple of awesome teams. I'll never get sick of these stadiums. One thing that I am sick of though is hearing(reading) " Greece 2004 European champions" , now THAT is old news. Now more than ever I am convinced it was all a fluke...now that all other countries are familiar with their style they can't even score a single goal. An embarrasing representative for Europe in the Confederations Cup. I know I'll be getting some flack for these comments but I don't really care.....Viva Italia and Forca Portugal!!

I agree with you totally. Thanks for being honest. As for getting flacked, what's vital is that our thoughts are said, even though they may not be understood by others.

I think Da Luz is still the best futbal stadium in Europe, and one of the best worldwide.

The new Wembley is looking pretty good as well but they will have to finish it before we can compare.

Funny you say that as the Emirates stadium has been talked about to death and will be even more so when it is finished for a very simple reason the design is truly brilliant every thing about both stadiums are great in design. When th Emirates stadium is opened every one will be talking about it like they will they were when Estadio da Luz was so complain all you but that stadium along with this one will be talked about for a very long time.

Brilliant Stadium One

Brilliant stadium Two

Do you honestly believe the da luz will be comparable to the new wembley? No offence but the new wembley is in a different world to da luz. It will be the largest (in terms of space), most advanced stadium in the world. Da luz is a very nice stadium and it looks excellent quality for the amount of money spent on it. However, these two stadiums were built with very different ideas in mind and the scale and quality of wembley befits it status by superceding anything currently in existence. I think once people see the new wembley up and running they will realise it will stand alone as the best in Europe, if not the world. - So it should for nearly £800m.
