Getting some movement between `Edgehill Station` and `Anfield Station` would certainly be a major step forward to creating an out of city centre saterlite use for Edgehill, pushing both inward to Lime Street and out to Liverpool South Parkway and beyond.
Edgehill could be a mayor hub feeding that `Edge of the City`......
I've posted some Merseyrail diagrams on the Transport and Infrastructure thread. This one shows the tunnels that we have under Liverpool and emphasises the strategic location of Edge Hill. (In addition, the M62 corridor is just adjacent plus the intercity lines coming in from Birmingham, London, Manchester etc and several suburban lines.)
