London Marathon - this Sunday

Cool. I hope the weather's going to be nice, so the Sun is reflecting off the towers.

^ so it can blind the runner eh?!

Saw it on telly today - the weather was nice down there in London!

Lots of great footage of Canary Wharf and the City from the air. Canary Wharf was great with the crowds and the runners - felt truely like part of the fabric of London!

It was a bit annoying though - often the camera would be panning across, and just before it reached Canary Wharf they would cut to a different view ... grrr, I hate it when they do that.

Also, they kept saying it was Europe's tallest skyscraper when it ain't.

Great race though. Well done to everyone involved.

Yeah there was some very nice footage of London :yes: and I also hated it when they cut away from CW :bash:

well it has the tallest office in Europe, i think Where teh London 2012 offices are.

The building in Frankfurt is taller but its top office is Lower down or something like that.

London looked bloody fantastic in the Sun, really showed the world we can organise big events.

How great was the scene with thousands of heads bobbing up and down, a London 2012 sign in the middle of it all, and CW rising in the background. Just wish I was bothered to go out there with my camera now. Will defo go next year.

I spent sunday morning wandering around the isle of dogs, fucking tremendous it was too! Atmosphere was absolutely fantastic, brilliant music, great encouragement to the runners, weather was great. Superb.
