The King's Cross district, located at the northern fringe of central London. This area was synonymous with industrial decline and urban decay, before the commencement of a multi-billion regeneration. Once considered an area to avoid, it is becoming a social and cultural destination in its own right. King's Cross is currently one of the largest ongoing construction projects in London:
