A couple of my photos:

I almost bought this Ganesha statue but I thought £40 ($80 US) was a bit much. I will be in India later this year and I'll buy one there (*Edit: I went back and bought it anyway*):

The golden stone temple is the under-construction Shri Sanatan temple in Alperton:

The larger white temple is the Shri Swaminarayan temple in Neasdon (near Wembley).

Beautiful photos... very well done, sir!
The temples look awesome, especially in that last photo. Really great neighb.
Cool pics, that temple looks incredible.

Apparently, there is a large Somali community in Southall too, so whenever I go to London, I'll check it out.
Wow, I thought either Newham or Hounslow was the biggest, i went through Southall station an noticed the bilingual signpost but never actually come to the place. Thanks for the photos, they're amazing.
Wow...beautiful people...very interesting!
This neighborhood looks like the kinda neighborhood I'd definitely visit on a holiday to London (I admire South Asian culture). I like the Hindu temple as well, Southall reminds me of Nadi in Fiji.

:)

Another reason to vote BNP.
Nazi Alert :eek:hno: :bash:

Can't believe it is London. How long ago did they build that Hindu temple?
Yeah great pics

After the London one, they built one in Chicago, and last year they built one in Toronto. They are beautiful buildings, and the stones were all carved in India.
fantastic pictures of an unknown neighbourhood for me.

i've got an urge for some curry too :)
