Blimey, I remember that. That's quite a flattering picture too. On the Peter Street/St Peter's Square facing side, it just looked like a bog roll tube with pinholes in it.

I'm ashamed to say that I quite liked this at the time. In hindsight it was hideous. I think I just wanted a tall tower in the area. Now we have GN and Beetham and 1HS (hopefully) so we had a lucky escape and the Radisson we now have is very elegant in comparison.
